‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ song ‘Shankara Re Shankara’: Ajay Devgn looks embarrassingly awkward while dancing

The first song from Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ is finally out. Titled ‘Shankara Re Shankara’, the song features Ajay Devgn dancing with several background dancers. The song is a tribute to Lord Shankar.

The lyrics of ‘Shankara Re Shankara’ are penned by Anil Verma, whereas Mehul Vyas has composed as well sung this celebratory song. After watching the teaser we were excited for this first song of this historical drama. However, unfortunately, the song failed to live up to our expectations.

Ajay is a great actor and there is no doubt about it but he can’t dance and everyone knows that. It’s an awkward sight to watch him dance in this folk song. Saif Ali Khan too features in this song and his menacing look appears to be quite interesting.

Directed by Om Raut, ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ also features Sharad Kelkar and Kajol. The film is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the military leader of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The film is all set to hit the silver screens on January 10, 2020.
