Ajay speaks on his ‘Baadshaho’ shoot with Kapil Sharma getting cancelled

Ajay Devgn who is on his toes promoting his upcoming film ‘Baadshaho’, had visited the sets of Kapil Sharma’s show with his team to promote the film. But much to his disappointment, the team had to return without shooting the episode, because the host did not show up. This apparently angered Ajay and he left the sets furious. Following this, many stories about Kapil’s ill-health made it to the headlines. In fact, a few reports also suggested that Kapil had been drinking till late the previous night and hence, he did not show up next morning for the shoot. Well, in a recent media interaction, Ajay spoke about this incident. He confirmed that Kapil did not show up on the sets but refused to be angry at him. “We left because he hadn’t reached… When I will talk to him next, I will get to know the reason,” Ajay stated.

When asked whether he thinks that Kapil has started considering himself to be a big star, Ajay quipped,”It’s not like that. Many shows have got cancelled in the past. And he is not keeping well for quite sometime… I don’t know what happened.”

“We are colleagues… Everyone is doing good work here. We will meet with love when we meet next,” he concluded.

‘Baadshaho’ that also stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta and Ileana D’Cruz is slated to release on September 1. It is directed by Milan Luthria. It will be clashing with Ayuhsmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’.
