‘Ajj Singh Garjega’ from Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari’ is all about power and pride

‘Kesari’, the film based on the Battle of Saragarhi featuring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After the unveiling of the first song ‘Sanu Kehndi’ that has found ample love from the audience, the Khiladi had now shared the second song ‘Ajj Singh Garjega’ from the war drama that has him donning the role of Havildaar Ishaar Singh.

Yesterday, the actor had shared a teaser of ‘Ajj Singh Garjega’ that showcased him singing the song. In the video, Akshay Kumar could be seen crooning the song’s hook line at the top of his energy. Today, he has shared the full version, that is sung by Punjabi singer Jazzy B and the heart touching lyrics are penned by Kunwar Juneja.

‘Kesari’ tells the story of Battle of Saragarhi, wherein an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in the year 1897. The film, jointly bankrolled by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Azure Entertainment and Zee Studios, is slated to hit the screens on March 21. It will be clashing with Vasan Bala’s action film ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’.
