Last week, actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reunited after a long time on the sets of ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. While, Akshay is the Super Judge of the show, Saif had appeared for the promotions of his forthcoming film ‘Chef’. Many of their fans and moviegoers would be aware that their friendship goes a long way back. It all started in the period of 90s, when they had worked together in a couple of films, which are still popular for their onscreen bromance and crackling chemistry.
It was during the shoot of this episode when both Akshay and Saif went on to reminisce their ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ days. Both of them took everyone by surprise with their impromptu gig on the title track of this film and decided to perform on it. After their performance on stage, Akshay chose to share that they both were missing choreographer Chinni Prakash who had shot this song with them. Akshay said, “I hope you guys liked this. But I have to say that we (Saif and I) really miss Chinni Prakashji today. He was the choreographer of the original song when we shot it years ago and today had he been here, this performance would’ve been so much better.” [sic]
Aren’t you excited as well to watch both of them back together after a slight gap of time?
While, Akshay’s TV show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ will be aired on Star Plus starting from September 30.
