Raksha Bandhan Trailer: Akshay Kumar is the ideal brother in this sweet slice of life drama

Actors Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have released the new trailer of Raksha Bandhan which brings you all a story of the purest form of bond that will remind you of yours. The trailer showcases the sweetest and purest bond with his sisters that will only remind you of your bond with your siblings. The trailer starts with Bhumi expressing her disappointment that he is not marrying her.

However, Akshay has reservations about getting married to Bhumi and the reason is his four sisters. He vows that he will only get married once his four sisters are married off happily. But the clock is ticking as Bhumi’s father tries to convince him to get married soon. Akshay is shown as the ideal brother who goes to any extent to ensure his sisters’ happiness and to fulfil their wishes. He plays the father figure of them who takes care of their little things.

The Raksha Bandhan trailer not only speaks about the sweetest sibling bond but also makes a fun family entertainer. Though the trailer looks quite promising, we wonder how the film will turn out to be.

Sharing the trailer of the video on Instagram, Akshay wrote, “Jahan parivaar ka pyaar hota hai, wahan har rukaavat ka samadhaan bhi hota hai! #RakshaBandhanTrailer is out, watch now.”

Raksha Bandhan also stars Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth, Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar. The film is helmed by Aanand L Rai who has previously worked with Akshay in Atrangi Re. The movie is set to release on 11 August 2022, clashing with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
