Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol to reunite for Welcome 3 after Housefull 4

Earlier, it was reported that three mega franchises – Hera Pheri, Welcome and Awara Pagal Deewana – will be revived. And all three movies will be headlined by Akshay Kumar in the lead. The major development left fans in a frenzy. Now, the latest reports mentioned Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome 3 got bigger as Bobby Deol has been roped in for the movie. According to the reports in Pinkvilla, Bobby Deol has joined the star cast of Welcome 3 with Akshay Kumar.

Welcome 3 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi and now Bobby in addition would be a helluva entertaining movie. A source told the portal, “Welcome 3 has turned out to be a hilarious script. And the producers are on the verge of getting a big ensemble cast on board for this film. Firoz has managed to get on board some of the biggest names from the 90s for Welcome 3. Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi and now Bobby Deol.”

 As the male actors have been locked, the makers are yet to lock top female leads for the movie. As per the source, they are looking for three actresses for the parts. The source said, “The script warrants the presence of 3 leading ladies and the casting is in progress. Like all films in the franchise, the core comedy of Welcome will derive from the challenges of getting married.”

The third instalment of Welcome will go on floors in 2024 and will be shot before Hera Pheri 3. Only recently it was reported Sanjay and Arshad are replacing Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor to play Uday and Majnu.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol have previously worked together in Housefull 4. They are also going to reunite for Housefull 5 too. The film’s announcement was done recently, leaving fans in a tizzy.
