After a lot of anticipation, actors Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi have released the trailer of Selfiee and it promises an entertaining watch for sure. The Selfiee trailer is about the love of a fan towards a star that turns sour due to the superstar’s arrogance. The trailer starts off with Akshay showcasing his showbiz world, totally unaware of a man (played by Emraan) who only craves to take a selfie with the superstar.

Apart from shooting, Akshay reveals that he loves driving but unfortunately, he doesn’t license to drive. When Emraan gets to learn about it, he ensures to give him a license in two days in exchange to get a selfie from the star. He then summons the superstar to the police station which makes the superstar Akshay angry. With this surprising turn of events, it then becomes a superstar against his biggest fan.

You will be reminded of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan which was also based on the same concept; however, director Raj Mehta tries to make it a light-hearted film with a different twist to the story. The face-off between the superstar and his fan seems quite intriguing as Raj Mehta also adds a little flavour of humour. Seeing his previous releases like JugJugg Jeeyo and Good Newwz, Raj Mehta is gearing up for another hit film with Selfiee. This is the second collaboration between Raj and Akshay.

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfiee trailer also shows the revamped version of Main Anari Tu Khiladi with added upbeat music. It is quite catchy.

On the other hand, the film also stars Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha were hardly seen in the trailer but we are hoping to see them more in the movie. We also get to see Mrunal Thakur for a glimpse into Selfiee. Directed by Raj Mehta, the movie is scheduled to release on February 24.
