Akshay Kumar and not Hrithik Roshan to be the lead in Nikhil Advani’s next

The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Airlift has taken the internet by a storm. With the overwhelming response garnered by the trailer, the makers seem to be highly impressed by Khiladi Kumar’s flawless acting. Nikhil Advani, who is the producer of the movie ‘Airlift,’ seems to be so impressed with this action hero that he wants to associate with Akshay, once again, for his next directorial venture.

Even though Nikhil Advani’s previous two directorials, ‘Hero’ and ‘Katti Batti,’ tanked at the box office, he is now gearing up to direct a film titled ‘Bazaar.’ Initially, this ace director was keen to rope in the Greek God of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan, to be the lead character in the film. Unfortunately, this deal didn’t materialize and now rumors are doing the rounds that Nikhil has approached his ‘Airlift’ star Akshay Kumar to be the lead in the film ‘Bazaar.’

A Source close to the director revealed that the director feels that Akshay can do justice to the role and they share a comfort level. Therefore, Akshay might just take up the project. The director and the star are as of now concentrating on ‘Airlift’ which is set to hit the theatres on January 22, 2016.
