“Main Akshay Kumar bol raha hoon,” answered the ‘Mission Mangal’ star picking up a reporter’s phone

‘Mission Mangal’ is all set to hit the theatres on August 15 and the star cast including Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menen are leaving no stone unturned to make the movie a huge success. The entire cast has enjoyed a lot during the promotions of the movie.

In one of the recent interviews, a funny incident happened that made everyone laugh. It was when Akshay received a reporter’s phone that was kept for recording at the event.

It so happened that Kirti was answering to one of the questions by the media. When she starts talking, the reporter’s phone starts ringing and Akshay receives the call. Someone was prompting him and saying “hello kar do sir, hello kar do, sir.” The caller on the other side of the call was apparently some Krishna and Akshay says that he is at a press conference. He says, “Krishna ji, hum log ek press conference mein hai. Main Akshay Kumar bol raha hoon.” This made everyone burst into laughter.

Talking about ‘Mission Mangal’, it is based on ISRO’s (Indian Space Research Organisation) Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM). It was launched on November 5, 2013. Akshay is playing a senior scientist in the movie who encourages the women scientists for the launch of Mangalyaan.
