Akshay Kumar breaks silence on rumours of joining Kartik Aaryan for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

It would be a treat to watch Akshay Kumar in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 along with Vidya Balan, hai na? There have been rumours of Akshay joining Kartik Aaryan for the third instalment; however, fans you’re in for some disappointment. According to HT, Akshay has confirmed that he is not a part of the upcoming sequel not even for a cameo. When asked about the cameo rumours, Kumar replied, “No, absolutely not. It’s fake news.”

Anees Bazmee reacted to Akshay Kumar joining Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 

Earlier, director Anees Bazmee had also said that the actor is not a part of the film. Speaking to Zoom, he had said, “No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In future, certainly yes.” He mentioned that the shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is scheduled for March 10. There was another rumour of Fawad Khan joining the movie but producer Bhushan Kumar refuted his cameo in Bhool Bhulaiyaa third instalment. He told the portal, “No, this piece of news is false totally.”

Meanwhile, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 shoot was wrapped up earlier this month. Sharing the video, Kartik captioned, “‘Arey pagalo’. Its a Wrap for #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 Haveli ka darwaza ek baar phir khulne ke liye taiyaar ho chuka hai. See you This Diwali.” However, at the wrap-up party, Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri seemed to be missing from the sets.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Madhuri Dixit. The second part had Kiara Advani and Tabu; however, they are not a part of it in the third instalment. The horror-comedy is scheduled to release in Diwali 2024.
