Akshay Kumar calls Kapil Sharma ‘Bewafa’ amid controversy, Here’s why- WATCH

Earlier, there were reports stating that actor Akshay Kumar is upset with comedian Kapil Sharma and has decided that he will not promote his upcoming film, Bachchhan Paandey at The Kapil Sharma Show. However, after this rumoured tiff, Kapil even shared a tweet saying that he has resolved the issue with the actor and asserted that they will shoot for Bachchhan Paandey. Well, it looks like they have indeed buried the hatchet as they have now shot the episode for the same but it seems like Akshay has not forgotten the past differences as he just called Sharma ‘Bewafa’.

Amidst the controversy, Akshay Kumar dropped a hilarious video on his Instagram where he and Kapil Sharma are seen explaining the meaning of ‘Bewafa’ which is the title of his song. In the video, we hear the Sooryavanshi actor slyly calling Kapil ‘bewafa’. The video also shows how they had differences and have let the bygones be bygones. Sharing the video on Instagram, Kumar captioned it with, “Bewafa…yane dhokebaaz. Sabki life mein hota hai. Abhi meri life mein hai @kapilsharma. Aur aapki? Make a reel with #SaareBoloBewafa. Zor se bolo bewafa!!”

For the unversed, talking about their rift, as per the report, during the promotions of Atrangi re, Kapil asked Akshay about an interview he did with a ‘famous personality’ where Kumar asked him how he liked eating mangoes.

Even though Akshay took it sportingly at the moment, he reportedly asked the makers to edit that part as Akshay found it inappropriate to mock the dignity of such a high office. Nevertheless, the scene was leaked and went viral. Due to a breach of trust, it was said that the 54-years-old actor was miffed with the comedian that made him refuse to shoot the video.
