Akshay Kumar celebrates Maharashtra Day with his Marathi teacher!

Akshay Kumar celebrated Maharashtra Day with his childhood Marathi teacher. The actor posted on Twitter a picture of his teacher and him as they sat next to each other.

The actor wrote, “Had a chance meeting with the lady responsible for my manageable Marathi…my Marathi teacher from school. Couldn’t have met on a better day.” (Also Read: Twinkle Khanna to take legal action on being threatened by a navy officer)

They both were all smiles for the camera. Here’s his post:

As the world celebrates International Labour Day, in India, May 1st also marks Maharashtra Day or Maharashtra Diwas. This is the day when the state of Maharashtra came into existence.
