Akshay Kumar finally confirms being a part of ‘Hera Pheri 3’

The ‘Hera Pheri’ memories still remain fresh in our minds. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal’s camaraderie and comic timing is something that made the film even more special. The makers then made a sequel to the film which was titled, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ (released in 2006) and since then, the third installment in the ‘Hera Pheri’ series has been in the news.

There were a number of reports stating that Akshay, Suniel and Paresh will be reuniting for the film, but no official announcement was made, neither it was confirmed by any member of the film. A while back, during an interaction, Akshay had denied being approached for the film and now, he has confirmed that he is very much a part of the film.

Akshay, who is busy promoting his upcoming film, ‘Gold’, was in Delhi recently for a special screening of his film. During a media interaction, he was asked about the kind of roles and films we can expect from him. To this, he said he would like to do different kind of films and not stick to the one with a social message. Akshay, who is also busy with the shoot of ‘Housefull 4’ confirmed that he will be doing ‘Hera Pheri 3’. “Ek kisam ki filmein nahi, sirf social filmein nahi balki ‘Housefull 4’ kar raha hoon, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ bhi kar raha hoon. Toh aise bahut saari filmein hai,” he told the media there.

This is not a throwback but takes me back to so many. As always was lovely catching up with one of my oldest friend and co-star @suniel.shetty today 🙂
