Akshay Kumar turns emotional as he confirms not being part of Hera Pheri 3, apologises to fans- Watch

Actor Akshay Kumar is not a part of Hera Pheri 3. On November 11, Paresh Rawal confirmed that Kartik Aaryan is part of the third installment as he replied to a Twitter user. This news has left Akshay’s fans disappointed as they can’t even imagine Hera Pheri 3 without the actor. They started trending the actor and tweeted, “No Raju no Hera Pheri”, “Bring back Akshay Kumar”. Today, at an event of Hindustan Times, the Ram Setu actor finally confirmed that he is indeed not doing the threequel. Akki also said that he feels sad that he has disappointed his fans.

Emotional Akshay said, “Kal hi mai dekh raha tha. No Raju no Hera Pheri. As much as hurt they are, I myself is hurt. I apologise to them that I won’t be doing Hera Pheri. Sorry.”

He also said, “Hera Pheri has been a part of me. Like a lot of people, I have good memories. Mujhe bhi dukh hota hai (I feel bad as well) that in so many years, part 3 hasn’t been made. But like I said we have to dismantle things. The film was offered to me but I was not satisfied with the script. I have to do what people want to see. That is why, I backed out. I took a step behind. It is a part of my life and journey for me. I am also very sad that I can’t do it. But I am not happy with how the creative things have shaped out.”

On the work front, Akshay will be seen in Selfiee, Gorkha, OMG 2, Capsule Gill and Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake. He is also making his debut in Marathi film industry with Mahesh Manjrekar’s film.
