Akshay Kumar’s film choices are mostly unconventional with a progressive social message. Over time he has become the pioneer of single-handedly carrying the entire film on his shoulders. As we speak of this, Akshay recently took to his Instagram account and announced the release date of his upcoming movie which is temporarily titled Production No.27. The movie is the official remake of Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru.

In the poster shared by Kumar, you can see a silhouette of him holding a helmet in his hand. There is also an aeroplane pointing upwards in his image. The film’s lead actress, Radhika Madan, couldn’t contain her excitement and dropped a heart emoji in the comments section.
The star cast of the movie includes Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhika Madan. It’s a Sudha Kongara directorial and the movie is bankrolled by Aruna Bhatia, Jyotika Suriya, and Vikram Malhotra.
Fans are pretty stoked about the movie as they expressed their excitement in the comment section. One commented, “It’s Khiladi Swag” while another one said, “Khiladi roar again”
Soorarai Pottru is a National Award-winning south movie. South superstar Suriya and actress Aparna Balamurali have received national recognition for Best Actor and Actress respectively from the Government of India.
The South version of the film starred Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, and Paresh Rawal. It was produced by 2D and Sikhya Entertainment. It was released in the year 2020 on November 12 and garnered massive appreciation from its fans.

Akshay Kumar was last seen in Selfiee with co-stars Emraan Hashmi, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. On the professional front, Kumar has some interesting lineups including Capsule Gill, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, and Hera Pheri 3.
