Akshay Kumar is in awe of his fans as they donate to disabled people in Africa amidst Covid-19

The second wave of Covid-19 has engulfed the nation. Cases have been rapidly increasing and while there is a huge amount of shortage when it comes to oxygen cylinders, medicines and many other equipments; there have also been saviours who have come out in support and donated to help with this crisis. Akshay Kumar has been one of the celebrities who has been actively helping out in the deadly pandemic. Well, that is not it, as Akshay’s fans have also come out and about to support the disabled people in Africa.

Akshay’s fans have left him in awe of them as they donated food items to the ‘amputee and people with disability’ in Africa to help push hunger in these difficult time. Akshay took to his social media account and applauded his fans for their kind gesture.

Akshay took to his Twitter account and shared a tweet by his fans that read, “As the world at large is been affected by #CoronavirusPandemic We the@Akkians_Africa donate food items to the Amputee and people with disability to help push hunger in these difficult time we are facing in the world. We don’t only love @akshaykumar we follows his principle.”

The actor replied, “What you guys are doing is phenomenal @Akkians_Africa . Keep up the amazing work and please stay safe ??”

Meanwhile, Akshay along with his wife Twinkle Khanna has helped out the nation amidst the ongoing oxygen crisis. The couple had donated 100 oxygen concentrators. Twinkle had taken to her social media account and revealed, “Wonderful news-Dr Drashnika Patel & Dr Govind Bankani of London Elite Health through Daivik Foundation are donating 120 oxygen concentrators and as @akshaykumar and I have managed to get our hands on 100 as well, we have a total of 220. Thank You for the leads. Let’s all do our bit (sic)”
