Akshay Kumar feels humbled as PM Narendra Modi pens a condolence letter post his mother Aruna Bhatia’s demise

Actor Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia departed for her heavenly abode on September 8, leaving her son and family in the void. In one of his Instagram posts, he called her mother his ‘core of the existence’ while saying that he felt an unbearable pain after her demise. Now, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi penned a long condolence letter for Akshay while addressing him ‘Dear Akshay Kumar.’ The photo of the letter was shared by the Bell Bottom actor on his Twitter handle and revealed he is humbled and feels grateful to see Modi’s amazing gesture towards him and his mother.

Sharing the letter with his online family, Akshay wrote, “Humbled by condolence messages on mom’s passing, thankful to all Grateful to hon’ble PM for this amazing gesture to take out time and express warm feelings for me and my late parents. These comforting words will stay with me forever. Jai Ambe” in the letter, Modi called him ‘one of India’s most admired and versatile actors’ while penning some warm words for his mother Aruna.

An excerpt of the letter read, “Your mother stood with you like a rock. At the peak of success and the lows of failure, she was there as an anchor. She ensured you remained kind, compassionate and humble at all times. She also instilled a spirit of service in you, seen repeatedly through your philanthropic initiatives and eagerness to give back to society.”

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar has jetted off to London again to complete the shoot of his upcoming film, Cinderella. Earlier, he left the shoot of the film after learning about his mother’s health condition. Now, he headed to the place with his family, Twinkle Khanna, daughter, Nitara and son Aarav Kumar.
