‘Filhall’ song: Akshay Kumar shares the teaser of his first ever music video

Akshay Kumar has been entertaining the audience for the last few decades. Action, romance, drama, comedy you name it and the actor has done it all. But there was one thing that Akshay had never done. Yes, the actor never featured in any music video. But now he has ticked that off his to-do list.

Akki will be seen featuring in a romantic music single ‘Filhall’. In the song, Akshay will be seen romancing Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon. Today the ‘Rustom’ actor treated his fans with the teaser of his first-ever music video.

Posting the teaser of the song, Kumar wrote, “Filhall Teaser. I often hear people say, nowadays songs lack melody. I hope #FILHALL changes that. Sharing the teaser of my FIRST MUSIC VIDEO! ‬What do you guys think? ‪Full song releasing on 9th November.” The track is composed and crooned by B Praak. The Punjabi singer has already given us the popular track ‘Teri Mitti’ that featured in Akshay’s ‘Kesari’.

Interestingly, Akshay’s look in the song will remind you of his get-up in ‘Namastey London’. Also, the song’s tune appears to be quite similar to Emraan Hashmi’s song ‘Itni Si Baat Hain’ from ‘Azhar’.

Earlier talking about his first-ever music video, Akshay had shared, “Having experienced the magic of B Praak’s voice firsthand with ‘Teri Mitti’ from my film ‘Kesari’, there was not much needed to convince me to come onboard for ‘Fillhal.’ And to top it all, the lyrics are so beautiful, it’s impossible to not feel anything. When I met with the lyricist, Jaani he told me it’s his best-written song to date and I couldn’t agree more. This brilliant combination of a soulful voice and lyrics to match got me to make my music video debut.”

‘Filhaal’ song will be out on November 9.
