Akshay Kumar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with co-star Tiger Shroff in Scotland. According to a report, Akshay Kumar injured himself while shooting for an action scene for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Akshay, who is known to perform his own stunts, suffered an injury on the sets of the film.
Akshay gets injured on sets
Hindustan Times quoted a source saying, “Akshay was shooting for an action sequence with Tiger, and it was a particular stunt he was performing when this injury happened. He has braces on his knee right now.”
The source added, “Though the action portions have been put on hold for the time being, Akshay continues to shoot the rest with his close-ups, so that there are no delays in wrapping up the Scotland schedule.”
Akshay and Tiger starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The upcoming film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. Fans are beyond excited to see Akshay and Tiger onscreen together.
Akshay pens note for Tiger
In February, Akshay had shared a video featuring him and Tiger having a good time on the sets of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The actor had penned a note for Tiger that read, “It was 32 years ago when I started my career with an action film. In these decades, I thought I had done it all. But just 15 days into filming one of our most ambitious projects, #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan I already feel tested. Both physically and mentally.”
Akshay added, “Pain, injuries, broken bones, these are not new to me. But nothing has ever pushed me out of my comfort zone the way @aliabbaszafar, his team… and you have, in just two weeks. Bhai roz physiotherapy chal rahi hai.” The actor further thanked Tiger for inspiring and making him feel joyful.
Apart from this, Akshay also has Soorarai Pottru remake, Oh My God 2, and Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
