Akshay Kumar gives his review on Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Chhorii

Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Chhorii was released on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video recently. The film premiered on the streaming platform on November 26. Now, after watching Chhorii, actor Akshay Kumar, Nushrratt Bharuccha’s Ram Setu co-star shared his views on the movie. Akshay Kumar has given his review on Chhorii. The actor said he was deeply moved by the movie. As the film focuses on the harsh topic of female foeticide in the country, Akshay even mentioned that he is equally concerned about this.

Taking to Twitter, Khiladi Kumar tweeted, “As father to a girl who is my lifeline, I was deeply moved, and equally concerned, about this. Kudos for taking up this sensitive topic, @vikramix @Nushrratt @Abundantia_Ent . Power to you. (sic).” He even congratulated Nushrratt for taking up a sensitive topic.

Reacting to her Ram Setu co-star’s tweet, Bharuccha thanked Akshay with folded hands. She went on and said that as the only daughter in a safe and supportive family, the reality of female foeticide shocks and scares her. Nushrratt mentioned that the subject is very close to her heart. The actress tweeted, “Thank You Sir Folded hands As the only daughter, in a safe and supportive family, the reality of female foeticide shocks and scares me. This subject is very close to my heart and personal for me. (sic).”

Meanwhile, Chhorii is a horror film directed by Vishal Furia. The film features Nushrratt Bharuccha, Saurabh Goyal, Mita Vashisht and Rajesh Jais.

On the work front, Bharuccha has the film Ram Setu in her kitty. The film features Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez too.
