Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ becomes the first Bollywood film to release in Saudi Arabia!

Riding high on the success of his recently released film ‘Gold’, Khiladi Akshay Kumar has yet another reason to rejoice. Helmed by Reema Kagti, the historical sports drama ‘Gold’ has created a history. Yes, read on to know what it is.

The Akshay Kumar starrer that opened to some rave reviews from the critics and audience alike, is all set release in Saudi Arabia. This would be the first time that a Bollywood film will be releasing in the Middle-Eastern country.

Sharing the news with his fans and followers, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and wrote, “The story of India’s first Gold medal victory for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The film has even entered the coveted 100 crore club. Looks like the cast and crew of ‘Gold’ has plenty of reasons to celebrate now. Also starring Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Mouni Roy, Vineet Singh and Nikita Dutta, ‘Gold’ released on Independence Day i.e. August 15. This is Akshay Kumar’s ninth film that has crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office.
