Wow! Akshay Kumar becomes the only Bollywood star in the Forbes list of highest paid celebrities for 2019

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has bagged a spot in the annual Forbes Celebrity 100 list. He is the only artist from Bollywood who has made it to the list. It is topped by American singing superstar Taylor Swift. He secured the 33rd position in 2019’s top 100 highest-paid celebrities in the world. He was featured on the list for being Bollywood’s highest-paid entertainer with earnings of USD 65 million or Rs 444 crore.

The magazine wrote, “Bollywood’s top-earning star, Kumar pulls in at least $5 million and up to $10 million per film. A recent deal will have him in the anticipated ‘Mission Mangal,’ one of India’s first space films, and comedy-horror movie ‘Laxmmi Bomb. He also mints millions for endorsement deals with over 20 brands, including Tata and Harpic bathroom cleaner.”

He jumped ahead of Rihanna, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper and others to win the spot. Taylor, on the other hand, surpassed them all with her earnings of $185 million.
