Akshay Kumar knows how to keep the audience enthralled. This year, the actor will be treating the audience with a historical war drama based on the Battle of Saragarhi. Helmed by Anurag Singh, the film will see Akshay playing the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. It also stars Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay. The makers of the film unveiled its trailer last week and it literally gave us goosebumps. Today, they released the film’s first song – ‘Sanu Kehndi’.
The song composed by Tanishk Bagchi and crooned by Romy and Brijesh Sandilya is full of old-world charm. In this fun-filled song, we can see Akshay having a great time with his boy-squad. The dance steps used in the song are also very amusing.
Interestingly, ‘Sanu Kehndi’ will remind you of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Maston Ka Jhund’ song from ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.

‘Kesari’ is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against a troop of 10,000 Afghans. Bankrolled by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Azure Entertainment and Zee Studios, the film will hit the silver screens on March 21.
Till then, stay tuned for all the latest updates about this film.
