A day after Akshay Kumar’s mother passes away, he misses her on his birthday; says, ‘Would have never liked it this way’

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar turned a year older on Thursday. Born on September 9. 1967, the actor became 54. In an unfortunate turn of events, Akshay’s mom, Aruna Bhatia passed away on September 8. He left this world for her heavenly abode on Wednesday morning. A day after his mom’s demise, Akshay Kumar drops an emotional post. The Bell Bottom actor took to his Twitter to share a beautiful picture with his late mother. Akshay shared the picture and thanked everyone for their birthday wishes. 

In his Birthday note, the Mission Mangal actor wrote that he is sure his mother is singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to him from above. The actor shared a picture where late Aruna Bhatia is seen planting a kiss on the cheek of her beloved son. Akshay Kumar looks happy and blessed as his mother showers love on him. In the note, Khiladi Kumar said he would not like his Birthday this way, but accepted the fact that ‘life goes on’.

On September 8, Akshay Kumar took to his social media to inform fans about the demise of his beloved mother, Aruna Bhatia. She had not been in the best of health for some time. Akshay’s mom was admitted to a Mumbai hospital on September 3. The actor had rushed back from the UK to be with his mother. Akshay and his family performed the last rites of Aruna Bhatia on the day of her demise.
