Akshay Kumar shares an emotional post on ‘Mission Mangal’

Akshay Kumar is known for doing movies that are based on real-life situations and he has created a niche for himself in that genre. And yet again he is coming with a movie based on India’s mission to Mars, which is titled ‘Mission Mangal’.

Today taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay shared how proud he is being a part of this extraordinary film. The actor also revealed that he is hoping to inspire as well as entertain people with ‘Mission Mangal’.

It was a lengthy post that explained why the actor did this movie. “For several years Hollywood made movies and TV shows like Star Trek, Star Wars, Gravity etc., this inspired an entire generation of inventors, scientists and explorers. I have always wanted to be part of one such movie… a movie that inspires our future generations… one that celebrates imagination and curiosity. Mission Mangal is that film for me… a film that I hope, will inspire as much as it will entertain. Based on the incredible true story of India’s mission to Mars, Mission Mangal is a film about ordinary people achieving the extraordinary… a story that proves that creativity, ideas and dreams have no limit… just like the sky! This Independence Day-the sky is not the limit,” the post read.

The movie is a space drama that is set to release on 15th August i.e Independence Day. The film also stars Vidya Balan, Kriti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi and Taapsee Pannu.
