When Akshay Kumar took his mother Aruna Bhatia to her favourite place in the world; Watch

Akshay Kumar and his family have been in mourning as the actor’s mother Aruna Bhatia passed away yesterday morning. The actor shared a great bond with his mother and often was seen sharing pictures and videos with her. Akshay had taken to his social media account and penned a gut-wrenching note that read, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti ??(sic)”

Akshay had once shared a lovely video with his mother. It was when he took Aruna to her favourite place in the world as Akshay was celebrating his mother’s birthday. Aruna’s favourite place was none other than the casino. In the video, she was seen in a wheelchair as Akshay took her around on the streets.

Sharing the video Akshay had written, “Do more of what you love doing and that’s exactly what the birthday girl did. Spent the past week in Singapore taking mom to her favorite place in the whole world : the casino ?(sic)”

Aruna’s last rites and the funeral took place in Vile Parle, Mumbai yesterday.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay will be seen next in Prithiviraj, Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Atrangi Re, Ram Setu and Raksha Bandhan.
