Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia passes away; actor says, “I feel an unbearable pain”

On Monday, actor Akshay Kumar flew back to Mumbai from the UK to be with his ailing mother Aruna Bhatia. Aruna was hospitalised in Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital as she was said to be admitted to the ICU after her health took a turn for the worse. But unfortunately, she did not survive as Akshay informed his fans that she breathed her last this morning. Akshay took to his social media account and penned down a gut-wrenching note saying, ‘I feel an unbearable pain’.

Akshay took to his Twitter account and penned down a heartbreaking note that read, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti ??(sic)”

Akshay was in London filming for his upcoming movie Cinderella, produced by Vashu Bhagnani and directed by Ranjit M Tewari. It was just yesterday when Akshay had shared with his fans of his ailing mother, “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help.”
