Akshay Kumar offers prayers at Mahakaleshwar temple

On the occassion of his birthday, Akshay Kumar paid a visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain and offered prayers. He visited along with his son, Aarav. In a video going viral on the internet, the actor is seen in a saffron/orange attire as he participates in the Bhasm Aarti in the temple and taking blessing of Lord Mahakal.

Previously, Akshay Kumar starred in OMG 2 and essayed the character of Lord Shiva’s devotee. He received heaps of praises for his character and with the way he justified it. Apart from Akshay Kumar, the film also starred Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. The film revolved around delivering a sensitive message about sex education. OMG 2 released on August 11 and witnessed a clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. Despite the clash, both films performed exceptionally well at the box office.

After delivering a rocking performance in OMG 2, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for Mission Raniganj : The Great Bharat Rescue. The actor took to his Instagram handle and has dropped posters along with a captivating teaser. The actor gears to share the screen with Parineeti Chopra. Previously, the two had teamed up together for Kesari. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Mission Raniganjk will release theatrically on 6 October, 2023.
