Akshay Kumar promotes Go Green campaign

Akshay Kumar is riding high on the success of his upcoming release ‘Airlift’. The film had the actor depicting the role of Ranjit Katyal, who along with the help of Indian government safely evacuate Indians stranded in Kuwait during the Gulf War. The movie had Akshay Kumar romancing the ‘Lunchbox’ actress Nimrat Kaur in it.

Akshay Kumar is at heart a philanthropic and has worked for the welfare of the farmers in the state. He is also a staunch promoter of Martial Arts and believes in teaching girls the art to protect themselves in these trying times.

Akshay is also a self-confessed Go Green campaigner. He recently tweeted,

At present, the Khiladi is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Rustom’. The film is a thrilling murder mystery set in the late 1950s. It is inspired from a real life incident and is written by Neeraj Pandey and Vipul Rawal. Directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai it will be releasing around Independence Day this year.
