Akshay Kumar reacts to criticism on being paired up with younger actresses: They are jealous

Actor Akshay Kumar has always found himself at the receiving end of criticism whenever he is seen paired up with younger actresses in his films. Just recently, Akshay Kumar whose age is 54 years old was seen opposite Manushi Chhillar who is 25 years old in Samrat Prithviraj. People criticised him for being paired with younger actresses.

Now, reacting to the trolls, in the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 7, Akshay revealed that they all are jealous. Akshay said, “That’s because they are jealous. And why shouldn’t I? I can work with them. Do I look 55? I don’t understand the problem. They just get jealous and keep on writing it. Some media person will write, and some trolling will happen. Who cares?” Well, Akshay even mentioned how people troll him and call him ‘Canada Kumar’.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar brought two unconventional actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar together on the couch. The two spoke about social media while Sam talked about her divorce and her life post divorce from Naga Chaitanya.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is now gearing up for the release of Raksha Bandhan. He also has Ram Setu, Bade Miya Chote Miya, Oh My God 2, an untitled film which is a Soorarai Pottru remake, Capsule Gill, Kathputli and Selfiee.
