Akshay on Kangana’s comment on Ranbir’s apolitical stand: “I don’t care about what others do”

Kangana Ranaut is extremely honest and upfront when it comes to voicing her opinions. The ‘Queen’ actress never steps back from putting forward her stand. Recently, she slammed Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for not taking a stand or speaking on political issues. When John was asked about Kangana’s statement at the trailer launch of ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’, he said, “If they are politically aware, then I think Kangana definitely is (right). She has got a voice and I think you must take a stand if you are politically aware.”

Now, Akshay Kumar has reacted on the same.

Today, during a media interaction, when Akshay Kumar was asked on Kangana’s statement he said, “Mujhe koi interest nahi hain yah sab cheezon main. Mai aapna kaam kar raha hoon, aap mere bare main puche. Aur kaun kya keh raha hain, mujhe usse koi lena dena nahi hain. Main jo kar raha hoon woh sahi kar raha hoon.” (I don’t have any interest in all these things. I am doing my job and I know what I am doing. I don’t care what others are saying).

That’s Akshay who believes in positivity and stays away from negativity. He is least bothered about what people have to say about him. That’s his attitude.

Akshay is currently gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Kesari’ where he is playing Havildar Ishar Singh, who led the Sikhs and fought against an army of 10,000 Afghan soldiers in the Battle of Saragarhi in 1897. The movie is slated to hit the screens on March 21.
