The festivities in India surrounding Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish wedding came to an end yesterday, July 15. While the couple’s Shubh Vivah and Shubh Aashirwad functions were star-studded affairs with Bollywood stars, international celebrities, cricketers, politicians and businessmen in attendance, the receptions hosted on Sunday (July 14) and Monday (July 15) were a bit lowkey. While Sunday’s function saw a handful of celebrities and influencers in attendance, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were captured on their way to bless the couple on Monday.

Akshay and Twinkle attended the last leg of Anant and Radhika’s wedding festivities days after Kumar tested positive for COVID-19. While Akshay tested COVID-19 positive, Twinkle was in quarantine with him. For the reception, Kumar and Khanna twinned in shimmering ivory looks. While the ‘Sarfira’ star opted for a kurta and pants set, Twinkle looked stunning in a bespoke anarkali suit set. She completed her look with an eye-catching handbag.

Anant-Radhika wedding

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding ceremonies began on Friday, July 12 in Mumbai. The festivities kicked off with the Shubh Vivah, followed by the couple’s Shubh Aashirwad function on Saturday and a Mangal Utsav, aka a wedding reception, on Sunday. On Monday, another reception was hosted in the city that saw high-level employees, paps and other business associates in attendance. All the wedding festivities took place at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai.
