Akshay Kumar REVEALS how Mission Raniganj fulfills an old wish of his parents

After delivering a blockbuster film, OMG 2, Akshay Kumar is all set to star in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue. It was a week ago when Akshay had dropped the teaser of his upcoming film and had left the netizens rooting for more. Now, on Engineers day, Akshay has paid a heartfelt tribute to Jaswant Gill.

Akshay Kumar pays tribute to Jaswant Singh Gill

Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram handle and dropped an image of Jaswant Gill and penned a note on the same. He wrote, “Happy #EngineersDay. I could never even imagine myself studying hard to be an engineer. But then I got an opportunity to play a brave, intelligent engineer like Jaswant Singh Gill ji in #MissionRaniganj. माँ बाप की इच्छा पूरी हो गई #RealHero”. The image has perfectly captured Jaswant Gill standing proudly outside Indian School of Mines, from the time when he was pursuing Mining Engineering.

As Jaswant Singh was a mining engineer and as Akshay Kumar is essaying the role him, he has made the wish of his parents come true.

Jaswant Gill is a real-life hero as he played a very crucial role during the Raniganj mishap. Known for delivering heroic tales, Akshay Kumar will be playing his role in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue.

Akshay is teaming up with Parineeti Chopra for the second time. Previously, the two were seen together in Kesari. The two are coming up together for the second time after 2019. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat rescue will hit the theatres on 6th October, 2023.
