Akshay Kumar to romance Radhika Madan in Soorarai Pottru’s Hindi remake?

Suriya Sivakumar’s film Soorarai Pottru is all set for its Bollywood remake. It is been said that Akshay Kumar is being considered to play the lead role. Now, a new report states that the Sooryavanshi actor will romance with Angrezi Medium actress Radhika Madan in the movie. Meanwhile, the director of the original, Sudha Kongara, will be returning to helm the Hindi version.

Talking about the film, a source told Mid Day, “The film is in pre-production stage, with the director having reportedly set the adaptation in western India. In all likelihood, Radhika will play a woman from rural Maharashtra. She will have to learn a specific dialect before the film goes on floors” This will be the first time Akshay and Radhika will be seen together on-screen.

Radhika will be reprising the role essayed by Aparna Balamurali in the original. As per reports, Sudha is presently working on the film’s script in Hindi. The remake is likely to be set on North India backdrop.
