Akshay Kumar rubbishes reports of signing Dhoom 4, calls it FAKE NEWS!

Akshay Kumar is one busy man. The superstar has just announced the release of his next Bell Bottom in theatres in July and is gearing up for other big releases lined up this year. He has five other projects almost completed – Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj and Atrangi Re are 100% done whereas Bachchan Pandey and Ram Setu need only a few days of work. He also has Raksha Bandhan lined up, too.

But apart from this too, Akki has signed several other big projects. There’s talk of him replacing Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2, followed by a project with Ekta Kapoor, another one with Jackky Bhagnani and the OMG sequel. Amid all this, one rumour that fails to die down is of him signing Dhoom 4. For the last two years, there have been several reports that claimed Akshay will be playing the baddie in Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 4.

While he maintained a stoic silence till date, in an interview with a leading daily, he opened up about the same and quashed all such rumours. Akshay said, “As for the Dhoom 4 speculation, I have two words for you, FAKE NEWS.” So there you go! While Adi Chopra is definitely working on an idea for Dhoom 4, who will play the villain in the speed thriller remains to be a mystery.
