Akshay Kumar set to become Lord Shiva again in Kannappa as the makers drop an intriguing glimpse of his look

Actor Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 57th birthday on September 9 and as a perfect gift, he recently served a new look for his upcoming movie titled Bhooth Bangla. His new look has left everyone impressed and fans are quite anticipating the same. Now, comes another gift for the fans as Akshay Kumar is all set to play Lord Shiva again after Oh My God 2 in pan-India movie Kannappa.

Kannappa makers have shared a glimpse of Akshay on their Twitter handle while wishing the superstar. The first look doesn’t show Akshay’s face but his chiselled bicep that has rudraksha mala tied round it. Whereas the backdrop has Kailash Parbat which is Lord Shiva’s abode. While sharing the picture, the makers wrote, “A Heartfelt Birthday wish to @akshaykumar! Your portrayal of Lord Shiva in this film is a testament to your unwavering dedication. Interstingly, he has donned the Shiva avatar quite a few times. Apart from donning the avatar in OMG 2 also starring Pankaj Tripathi, he also dressed up like the deity for a music video titled Shambhu.

Meanwhile, sharing the first look of Bhoot Bangla, he captioned, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all.
