Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 is all set to release soon. The makers of OMG 2 recently treated fans with the trailer of the film and it instantly won hearts. In the upcoming sequel, Akshay will be seen as a ‘messenger of Shiva’. He will help Kanti (played by Pankaj Tripathi) to find justice for his son. Ever since the posters and trailer dropped, Akshay’s look has been grabbing a lot of attention. Well, let us tell you, it took a lot of time to design his look in OMG 2.

Akshay Kumar along with the designer Leepakshi spent ‘a lot of time’ designing his look in OMG 2. It was difficult because he was playing a ‘vagabond’. So, the look needed to be distressed and at the same time, it needed a certain divinity for the sake of the character. Designer Leepakshi had to do a lot of mixing and matching to come to Akshay’s final look in the film, which also had to have a certain fashion sense.

Undoubtedly, the efforts paid off.

OMG 2 is a sequel to Akshay and Paresh Rawal starrer OMG: Oh My God. In the first part, Akshay played the role of Lord Krishna. Now, fans are beyond excited to see him as a messenger of Lord Shiva in the sequel. While Pankaj plays the role of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, Yami will be seen as a lawyer. The trailer which was released a few days ago received a good response from the netizens.

OMG 2 is directed by Amit Rai. For the uninitiated, it will clash with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2. Both the films are releasing on 11^th August in theatres.
