Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome 3 to be directed by Ahmed Khan? Here’s what we know

Reportedly, Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome 3 has gotten bigger with Bobby Deol on board. It was also reported that Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi have replaced the iconic duo of the Welcone franchise, Majnu Bhai and Uday Bhai aka Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. These two have given an immortal pair in the form of Majnu Bhai and Uday Bhai in the Welcome franchise.

Ahmed Khan to direct Welcome 3?

Speaking of the film’s director, it has been reported that Firoz Nadidawala has roped in Ahmed Khan to direct the comic entertainer. Adding that the director has the correct aesthetics, Firoz has onboarded Ahemd Khan for the same. According to Bollywood Hungama, Arshad Warsi, Akshay Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt are highly excited about the film.

The director, Ahmed Khan has already established himself in the Bollywood industry, given that he has delivered action films including Baaghi 2, Herpanti 2, and many more. Speaking of Ahmed Khan directing Welcome 3, the film will also consist of a bit of action and more humor.

About Welcome 3

Currently, the film is in the pre-production stage and is all set to go on floors next year. Welcome 3 will be shot before Hera Pheri 3. The portal also reported that the cast is sure about Ahmed Khan bringing in new flavor to the comedy film. Apart from Welcome 3, the director will also be curating another comedy banger, Awara Pagal Deewana 2 which will go on floors next year too.

Reportedly, Akshay Kumar is all set to come up in three comedy franchises, including Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Pagal Deewana, and has plans to keep his fans and followers amazed with his stunning humor and comic timing.
