Akshay Kumar talks about criticism over his films’ choices; shares updates on Welcome 3, Hera Pheri 3 and Jolly LLB 3

Actor Akshay Kumar has been making headlines for his box office failures. Due to this, many criticise his choices of films that do not connect with the masses. Having said that, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Akshay said that he has made several changes because of criticism and whatever he feels right, he will act upon it.

Akshay Kumar on people’s criticism over his movies

The Samrat Prithviraj actor said, “What is the person’s background, what has the person done in life? One is a personal criticism, where the person goes personal. One is the person who wants the other person to improve, which he is saying from his heart. So, I like that kind which I take it in a very right way, I understand it, and I go for it. I have done many changes because of criticism also. When I hear a right criticism, when I understand it, and it makes sense to me, I will go for it.”

Shares updates on his upcoming movies

He said, “Jolly LLB 3 shoot is complete; however, we are yet to shoot for the songs. Housefull 5 will begin next month. Welcome To The Jungle is 40 percent over. We are yet to start shooting for Hera Pheri 3, I hope it begins soon.” Khiladi Kumar also confirmed that he is in talks for an action film too.

“I am in talks for an action film, maybe it will start next year. People want to see franchises, so I am doing them. Whatever people say, we have to try and understand. But at the same time, I won’t give up doing different kinds of cinema also. At times, even I want to give the audience, what I feel they want. Whether I succeed or not is different, but that wouldn’t stop me,” he added.
