Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer The Great Indian Rescue gets a new title, deets inside

Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar has been the talk of town ever since he delivered a rocking performance in OMG 2. Akshay is surely on a roll as he is now gearing up for The Great Indian Rescue. The film marks a reunion of Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra after they were seen before in Kesari.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film is tentatively titled as The Great Indian Rescue. Starring alongside Parineeti Chopra, The Great Indian Rescue is a a film based on the life of a mining engineer Jaswant Gill, who in 1989, had rescued 64 minors from flood quarry in West Bengal.

Dropping a big update on the film, the Akshay Kumar starrer has now been reportedly titled as ‘Mission Raniganj’. Yes, you read that right! Recently, Akshay delivered a memorable performance in OMG 2, now the netizens can’t wait to watch the upcoming film. Mission Raniganj is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and is backed by Pooja Entertainment. Previously, Tinu Suresh had also directed Rustom, also starring Akshay Kumar in the lead. The teaser for the upcoming film will be dropped soon and the film is slated to release on October 5.

Currently, Akshay Kumar is basking in the success of OMG 2. Apart from him, the film also stars Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. Speaking about its collections, OMG 2 has smoothly entered the 100 crore club.

OMG 2 was released on August 11 and witnessed a clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. Despite the clash, both films worked wonders not just at the box office, but they also ruled hearts. The films stands directed by Amit Rai and revolves around delivering an important message about sex education.
