Akshay Kumar to launch this TV beauty in Bollywood?

No more beating around the bush! We were talking about the beautiful Mouni Roy, who is an extremely familiar face, thanks to her successful career in television. Mouni has been eyeing on Bollywood for quite some time now and her much awaited debut has had its fair share of rumours as well.

A couple of weeks back, reports suggested she was going to be launched by none other than Shah Rukh Khan. But if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then it is not SRK but Akshay Kumar who will bring her dream debut to life! (Also Read: Salman Khan all set to launch TV actress Mouni Roy in Bollywood?)

Reportedly, Akshay’s ‘Gold’ will have Mouni in a pivotal role. The film is based on India’s historical gold medal win at Olympics 1948, which was also India’s first participation at Olympics as a free nation.

If true, this could just be the perfect beginning to Mouni’s Bollywood career. However, neither she nor the makers of ‘Gold’ have confirmed it officially yet.
