The country is currently in jeopardy since the CAB (Citizenship Amendment Bill) has been passed in the Lok Sabha. In states like Assam and West Bengal protests against the bill have escalated and also in Delhi students are coming out to protest. The protest march had started from the Jamia Millia Islamia. There were clashes of the mob with the police. Several students were injured and were taken to hospital. The police even entered the Jamia campus without permission and detained around 100 students. Reportedly, police entered the campus by force without permission and students were beaten up and forced to leave the campus. Police then said that they entered the campus to control the situation.
Several videos of the violence are shared on Twitter as people are protesting against it. A tweet shows Akshay liking a video that mocks the attack on Jamia. But later it was ‘unliked’ by the actor. A Twitter user slammed the actor for liking the video. Akshay then tweeted saying that it was by mistake.
Before Akshay’s tweet, check the tweet he liked.

Akshay should have been a bit careful while scrolling down the posts on social media or liking something before going through it properly. What do you say?
Meanwhile, violence had risen in many parts of the country as the citizenship law means to grant citizenship to non-Muslims from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh living in India.
