Akshay Kumar: If acquitted, I will surely work again with Sajid Khan

Sajid Khan was dropped midway from ‘Housefull 4’. The director was replaced overnight by Farhad Samji after the #MeToo allegations came against Sajid Khan. Akshay Kumar, who has been a great friend of Sajid Khan, has now finally spoken up about working with him again.

At the trailer launch of ‘Housefull 4’ when Akshay was asked if he would once again work with Sajid Khan, he opened up about the same saying, “If he is acquitted, I will definitely work with Sajid Khan.” Check out Akshay’s reaction right here:

Akshay and Sajid Khan have worked together in films like ‘Heyy Babyy’, ‘Housefull’, ‘Housefull 2’ and all of them have been blockbusters. ‘Housefull 4’ also looks amazing fun and it seems that this one is sure to hit the bullseye again.

Not only Sajid Khan, but even Nana Patekar was thrown out of the movie after the #metoo allegations broke out. Nana was replaced by Rana Daggubati in the film, and almost the entire schedule was reshot with Rana Daggubati in it.

Apart from Akshay and Rana, ‘Housefull 4’ also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is all set for a Diwali release. It will have still competition at the ticket windows from Rajkummar Rao-Mouni Roy starrer ‘Made In China’ and Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. All the films have big stars backing them, and it will be great to see if anyone of them decide to back out of the clash.
