Akshay Kumar raises money

Recently, Akshay Kumar attended the 13th Motilal Oswal Annual Global Investor Conference 2017. And you will be surprised to know that the actor out there raised more than Rs 6.50 crore for the families of martyred soldiers and that too in less than 30 minutes. Well, the actor successfully raised the funds from ​CEOs and corporate honchos for his initiative ‘Bharat Ke Veer’.

‘Bharat Ke Veer’ is an initiative that has been started to provide financial support to the families of martyred military and paramilitary forces personnel. Akki’s initiative is supported by Indian government.

At the press conference, Akshay requested everyone to come forward for ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ and donate generously. The actor’s appeal touched the hearts of CEOs and corporate honchos out there and they donated huge amounts. Akshay thanked everyone for the donating the amount and for such a quick response.

When it comes to films, Akshay will next be seen in ‘2.0’ which is slated to release on January 26, 2018. After that he has ‘padman’ which will be hitting the screens in April, and then there’s Reema Kagti’s ‘Gold’ which is slated to release during Independence Day weekend next year.
