Akshay Kumar is giving husband goals; see how he surprised wifey Twinkle Khanna

Superstar Akshay Kumar is busy with the shoot of his upcoming multi-starrer comedy ‘Housefull 4’ in Jaisalmer, but amidst his hectic schedule, he did not forget to wish his super talented wife Twinkle Khanna for the success of her latest book. Twinkle Khanna who launched her third book ‘Pyjamas Are Forgiving’ recently, is already ruling at No.1 on Amazon and Crossword.

Proud husband Akshay soon took to his social media handle and tweeted, “Having seen you fretting about it since months, I know exactly how much this means to you and I couldn’t be happier ? So proud of you ❤️”

He even planned a special surprise for his lovely wife in Jaisalmer.

A source from the sets revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Twinkle and their daughter Nitara flew to Jaisalmer on Thursday to meet Akshay. Over the weekend, Akshay organised a party at the beautiful ruins of Khaba fort. The revellers had around 75 peacocks for company, and Akshay ensured that all of Mrs Funnybones’s favourite dishes were on the menu.”

While Twinkle and Nitara flew back to the Bay on Sunday night, Akshay will continue to shoot in the desert state till early October.

Meanwhile, ‘Pyjamas Are Forgiving’ continues to receive rave reviews.

On the film front, Akshay Kumar whose last release was ‘Gold’ is currently working on ‘Housefull 4’, the Sajid Khan directorial which also features Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday in pivotal roles. Besides this film, the actor will also be seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’ and ‘Kesari’ that also features Parineeti Chopra; and ‘Good News’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
