It’s been over two months after veteran actor Vinod Khanna’s sad demise. It was perhaps for the first time after his death that his son Akshaye Khanna chose to speak about him in a press interaction. In an interview with a leading news agency when Akshaye was asked about his memories with his late father, the actor paused before he could talk about him as he was choked with emotions.
Furthermore he said, “You know now that he is not here with us anymore, I started to think about him from that perspective (as a star) because I have never looked at him as an actor.” [sic] (Also Check: Akshaye Khanna leaves a mark in this new poster of ‘MOM’)
“He was always my dad… It’s only now that I will start looking at him as a yesteryear star who was admired by so many people. Anyway, we just lost him… So I think it’s too early for me to talk about our memories now… I need some time,” added the actor. [sic]
Currently, the actor is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘MOM’ that features him with veteran actress Sridevi and versatile performer Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the first time on big screen.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is all set to hit the screens on July 7, 2017.
Quiet, resonant, and creative, he can be seen immersed in his own world, and puts in his heart and soul into the one passion that he has, Bollywood. His line for survival? Feel happy to be a part of it.
