Alaya F makes you feel the love in Anurag Kashyap’s Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat teaser

With her first film in 2020, Jawaani Jaaneman, Alaya F proved her mettle in acting, showing everyone that she is here to stay. Then the Covid shutdown hit and her momentum broke. The audience had to wait for almost three years to see the young talent come back to the screens, and she did that this month with the Kartik Aaryan-starrer psychological thriller Freddy. But now, without much wait, she is set for her third release, Anurag Kashyap directed Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, whose teaser has been released today, and Alaya F has surely made the audience feel the love in it.

The teaser of Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat doesn’t give out much, but the fact that it is a love story between the characters played by Alaya and debutante Karan Mehta. What starts as innocent love between a school girl and a small town guy who is a DJ, seems to turn troublesome eventually, but what happens is not given away much in the teaser.

Alaya surely exhibits the innocence required in her character of a school girl. Her face and smile has that charisma that instantly makes you fall in love with her. Her range of expressions in the teaser shows the capability she possesses as an actor, and there are indeed a lot of layers left to be explored with her as an artist. As for Karan, this is his first film, and he has a unique appeal to him. He also has a sweet demeanour as required by his character but it also builds on a little mystery as the story progresses. The chemistry between the two seems sparkling in the teaser, but how it eventually turns out to be, will be unveiled only when the film releases on February 3, 2023.
