Ali Fazal: Overwhelmed to meet fans in foreign land

Ali Fazal who has recently shot for ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty and Jimmy Sheirgill, says it feels different to meet the fans in the foreign land.

Ali’s film ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ has a story-line set up in India and China, for which the actors went abroad to shoot in the exotic places. He was in Melbourne earlier this month, and during the shoot of the film, he experienced how Bollywood films transcend boundaries.

Sharing about his experience the actor said,”Its always refreshing to meet fans in foreign land as we never really get to connect with them as we can in homeland. I was pleasantly surprised though to see the turnout. And even more surprised that majority of the fans still cherished taking autographs than selfies which I loved”.

Ali Fazal’s ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ that released today also stars Jassie Gill, Jimmy Sheirgill and Piyush Mishra in significant roles. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Eros International.

On the work front, Ali has finished shooting for Excel Entertainment’s video-on-demand series ‘Mirzapur’. And is currently shooting for Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Prassthanam’ and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Milan Talkies’.
