Ali Fazal’s mother Uzma Saeed passes away in Lucknow

Another sad news of a Bollywood actor. Ali Fazal lost his mother Uzma Saeed on June 17 morning in Lucknow. A statement has been released by Ali’s spokesperson on behalf of him.

The statement read: “It is with great sorrow we inform you that Ali Fazal’s mother passed away on the morning of June 17, 2020, in Lucknow after quick succession of health complications. Her passing was sudden and we pray for her peace.  Ali is grateful for the love and support of his fans in these testing times. A personal loss of this magnitude also needs silence. He requests his fans and the press for some privacy at this point.”

Ali took to social media to mourn the death of his mom. Sharing a picture of her, he tweeted, “I’ll live the rest of yours for you. Miss you Amma. Yahi tak thhaa humaara, pata nahi kyun. You were the source of my creativity. My everything. Aagey alfaaz nahi rahe. Love, Ali (sic).”

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha were planning to get married in April this year. But due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it is put on hold. Talking about his April wedding being put on hold, Ali had earlier told Hindustan Times, “Sabki life postpone ho gayi hai, shaadi toh… let’s see what comes out of this in the new world. I hope we come out as better people, a better system, a better climate. I think there’s a major churning happening above, below, inside and outside… everywhere. It’s definitely a time to reflect.”
