Ali Fazal garnered praise for his performance in his last released Bollywood flick ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ wherein he was paired opposite Diana Penty. But not just Bollywood, the actor is slowly establishing a strong feet even in the West. For those uninitiated, he will be next seen ‘Victoria & Abdul’, a British-American biographical film. It is based on a book of the same name written by Shrabani Basu and revolves around Queen Victoria and her Indian servant Abdul Karim.
Ali has been putting in his best efforts to make this a success. At the same time, makers are leaving no stones unturned to make sure the actors look perfect in their respective shoes. As part of that, they especially designed costumes with effects of royalty and keeping in mind the trends of late 18th century. (Also Read: Poster alert: Ali Fazal looks royal in ‘Victoria & Abdul’)
In order to preserve the hard work, directors Stephen Frears and Lee Hall decided to put costumes of Ali and his co-star Judi Dench on display. They will soon be displayed at Osborne House, a former royal residency of the UK. Incidentally, ‘Victoria & Abdul’ also happens to be the first film to be shot within the house. It is the same house where Queen Victoria took her last breathe as well.
The house is now open as a tourist attraction and the displays can be found in the house’s museum section.
On the professional front, Ali’s next Bollywood flick is ‘Fukrey Returns’. Apart from that, he is also said to be a part of Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Tadka’.
